About ArtVals
ArtVals is a licensed valuation service, it places the utmost importance on confidentiality in its appraisal procedures. We cater to collections ranging from individual art pieces to expansive public and private collections.
Luke Campbell has been designated as the valuer for ArtVals. He holds a Bachelor of Visual Art in Fine Arts from Griffith University, a Graduate Diploma in Art History from Adelaide University, and a Masters in Curatorial and Museum Studies from the same institution.
Between 2013 and 2022, Campbell was involved in the sale of major works by renowned Indigenous artists, such as Bill Whiskey, Tommy Watson, and Naata Nungurrayi, to name just a few. This period also saw him work on commercial exhibition programs that featured some of Australia's foremost contemporary artists, many of whom have been finalists in prestigious awards like the Archibald, Wynne, and Sulman Prizes.
The commercial success of these exhibition programs provided Campbell with in-depth knowledge of the marketplace, allowing him to discern where value exists for an artist as they progress from an emerging to blue-chip status.
Guided by Campbell, ArtVals is steadfast in its commitment to offering detailed art valuations across an array of collections.
